Facebook players in particular were taken by storm in 2012 when Marvel and Playdom released Marvel: Avengers Alliance as a game. Over the next several years, right up until the game’s closing in 2016, a huge fanfiction community sprawled online, determined to figure out what it may have been like if other IPs had also been licensed for inclusion into the game’s format.
On a dare in 2013, the early origins of Percolation Wave mythos in Dozerfleet Comics were generated as a justification for how to put Extirpon in the game’s world. From there, numerous other Dozerfleet characters saw themselves getting fics imagining how they too could be cloned into the game’s world. And it branched out from there.
This carefully-curated archive features what has survived of those days of collaboration between Dozerfleet and the greater fan community surounding expanded Avengers Alliance fanon, which led to Percolation Warriors and numerous other Percolation-related fanfics in later years.
