• Viewer intelligence is sometimes required in some microsodes to determine where dialogue should be, and characters often had odd switch-ups in voice quality. This was due to the Sora app frequently getting confused as to whom to assign dialogue to.
• "Esau Can't Be Hated Enough" is both a reference to Romans 9:13 and Revelation 3:9. The episode is also a commentary on a real-life ISD corruption scandal in New Jersey, in which a racket really did take over the school district, engaging in outright land theft to destroy that district's general public education model, and give certain ethnic students preferential treatment. In essence, Ruiko helping get a case started against them for corruption led to her becoming hunted. This makes this episode the most biting commentary ever on Trump's second term, and the political and cultural climate surrounding it.
• "Long Reach is Long" not only comments on the mob slang of "my reach is long," but is also a pun reference to the old meme phrase: "Longcat is long," reflective of Ruiko's meme gravity.
• "This'll Make Things Crystal-Cracked" is a play on "this will make things crystal-clear." It also references "cracking," or malicious hacking, and the fact that Crystal and her boyfriend hacked a mainframe to get the unredacted Epstein files.
• The unredacted Epstein files are almost never referred to in-series by Epstein's name, but only by the term "unredacted files," because of a desire to circumvent any built-in safety features in the Sora 2 app that would have prohibited mention of Epstein.
• "As the Crow Spies" both references the super-intelligent crows' espionage antics and is a play on "as the crow flies."
• "Filed Ahead of Time" is given its title specifically because the crows' time travel makes this literally true in the most bizarre way possible.
• The surgeon's assistant panicking that the reveal "could collapse all civilization" is a cheap jab at Pam Bondi's similar panic during her refusal to release the unredacted Epstein files.
• "Sparkles Like Snowden" is both a reference to Crystal's name and to that of Edward Snowden, whom she begins to resemble. The title also is a play on "sparkles like snow."
• "The Calming of the Clown" follows similar title logic to The Taming of the Shrew.
• "Daywrecker's Unlucky Night" both references Claire's new nickname and anomaly. It also plays on the phrase "day and night."
• "More Wandering, Less Resolving" is a play on Home Depot's slogan: "More Saving, More Doing." The Infinite Home Depot dimension makes the slogan meaningless.
• "Timescares Only" gets its name from a company Timeshares Only. The title also refers to how Amber's initial findings about the Dromedeverse timeline's health instill only fear in others.
• "Quake It, You Won't Make It" is a play on the phrase: "fake it 'till you make it."
• "Feeling Queasy" is a Bella-coded analogue of the infamous ad-libbed Infinity War line of: "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good." She said it this way to avoid any safety filters in Sora that might have otherwise led to the clip being rejected for stepping on a third party IP.
• "Shell If They Know" is a play on "hell if they'd know," plus a reference to scallop seashells, a motif used by SCALLOP, whom Amber visits.
• Amber's growing skills with timeline health diagnosis follow similar logic to the timeline health monitors used by the TVA in Deadpool and Wolverine.
• "Jailhouse Burials" is a play on "Jailhouse Blues."
• Amber and Candace's line: "It was the only way," referring to uploading Amber and Ruiko into the Tapestry to prevent them from also being dusted, is a reference to Doctor Strange in ''Infinity War'' saying: "There was no other way," right before he was dusted by the Thanos snap.
