Now, you can re-enact the events of Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo™ inside your copy of The Sims 4! Play as Isitoq "Anarteq" Sundue, the merman saboteur spy superhero defender of the North. Or as his young cousin, Jissika "Nemara" Sundue, as she will go to any lengths to prove herself to the rest of her tribe - and ensure that her older cousin fully understands and completes the mission! What do these weresalmon Inuit merfolk do in their downtime, hundreds of miles from their settlement base in North Bay, Ontario?
What is it like to be Jissika, illegally boondocking while swimming the Great Lakes? What would you do with a day in the life of Isitoq, as he enjoys a French toast breakfast and works as a tour guide? You can also live in the house Isitoq rented: 1011 Wellington St. in downtown Sault Ste Marie!
Play as Nanaouk Kunuk, the Order of the Oraphim Inuit Chapter's Marlquaanite jewelry expert, a mentor to the Sundue cousins, and a friend of their fathers and grandfather, as he seeks to ensure the cousins are ready to truly live up to the title of Anarteq.
Or, you can decide what a day in his life is like when there aren't Society of the Icy Finger baddies to outwit! Enjoy life in Nipissing 10, in a cottage near the lake. Gardening, canoeing, or just enjoying life on the back deck. And since Nanaouk only lived until November of 2015, and then his house got sold to the Nishnaabe Tribe, who would you have move into his house?
Don't feel like playing as the main cast? Play as Akiak Sundue, the first Sundue family member to become a Phexo Weresalmon due to the Phaelite Society of Earth, as he fights Japan on the battlefront of WWII. Or, his wife Rebecca "Becky Ryba" Volstika-Sundue. Relive his tales of battling Inukpak and the various Mahahas. Or, play as his sons Toklo and Tulimak Sundue, as they sought to bring honor to the Anarteq legacy through their own runs with the title.
Relive their moments of pleasure and pain. Play as Anjij, destined to marry Toklo and have a son that would become the greatest Anarteq of them all! Or, play as Siaja Tiktak, disowned by her family for her reckless involvement with Tulimak, and for the daughter she bore from him. Follow their journey from the times the couples met in college, to the deaths of Toklo at the hands of Mahaha and the death of Tulimak at the hands of Ogopogo.
Would you rather make up your own staff member of the Order of the Oraphim? You can do your part to manage the Oraphim Mission Church.
Feeling like a walk on the dark side? You can play as Travis "Wishpon" Beaverton, vowing to find the Abdygalis Shard and appease Rappaccini, thus proving his worth to his superiors - who doubt his worth after one too many humiliations further south at the hands of Emeraldon. Using Anguak Ashoona as a template, help Wishpon terrorize the region, by siccing his army of Qalupalik warriors on anyone living too close to the shoreline of the Saint Mary's River! Play as Kumaglak Jones, a financier, gambler, and one of the Mahahas, as he tries to find a way to make himself useful while his Qalupaliks are borrowed by Wishpon.
Screwworm Network baddie Greg Nomarche at one point fell prey to Jissika's siren song, and was promptly humiliated by her. Will he find redemption on another mission? You decide!

Synopsis
It's the late fall of 2015. A mystical compass has been stolen from the Order of the Oraphim, and the dastardly Wishpon wishes to use it to find a crystal that could unlock the multiverse - which would bode ill for almost everyone in Earth-G7! The compass is damaged, and can't give him the exact location. But he knows it's somewhere in Sault Ste Marie!
Pretending to be a temporary hire tour guide for Sault Ste Marie and the Famous Soo Locks Boat Tours, Isitoq "Anarteq" Sundue gets sent to spy on the region, and deal with any Society of the Icy Finger / Screwworm Network / Wishpon-related activity he finds. However, when his mentor Nanaouk fails to give him all the critical information he needs to complete his mission, his envious and overlooked "wild child" cousin Jissika "Nemara" Sundue takes it on herself to assist him - running away from home to do so, and swimming hundreds of miles.
However, Jissika was soon to learn that she'd dangerously underestimated Wishpon. Now trapped in a jail cell on the Michigan side under the dreaded new Kirby Act, she knows time is running out to find the crystal, diffuse the hidden bombs, save the city, and set things right. She has but one bit of advice for her cousin above all else: "We need you to be Anarteq."
Isitoq won't let his cousin's risky endeavors be in vain; as he does all he can to find the dreaded Abdygalis Shard - and find a way to destroy it - before his enemies can claim the prize they believe it will promise them! Yet, as he should have suspected, attempting to save Canada - let alone the world - let alone the multiverse - in that fashion, was guaranteed to have consequences that he'd have to face next!

Trivia
- While not adapted to gameplay, Jissika's underwater scream in canon is inspired by that of Ryn Fisher (Eline Powell) from the Freeform TV series Siren.
- Wishpon was only possible in this pack due to modifying a werewolf from the Werewolves game pack to make him look as much like a beaver as possible.
- At the time of release, there was no good way of importing Isitoq's harpoons nor Jissika's ulus into the game.
- Nanaouk's home took inspiration from homes around the area of Lake Nipissing and the local Algonquin / Chippewa settlements and reservation grounds.
- There were initially plans to remake every location mentioned in A Very Anarteq Tour of the Soo inside this pack. This would even have included the Michigan-side juvenile center where Jissika was held until she could be transferred to Bay Pines. For various game logistical practical reasons, however, only three properties from the story were ever finalized for inclusion in-game.
- The Bushplane Heritage Museum was one of many locations that almost got adapted for the pack, only to be abandoned because of size constraints.
- Much of the stamp art featured in this pack's decor is based on photograph of Chippewa relics from the Grand Rapids Public Museum, which was visited in 2024.
