Titles pushed to next year

In case of the worst

Long-term contigency plannning at Dozerfleet has led to a decision that once the machinomics are complete, it may be a good idea to start utilizing Linux Mint more, and relying less on variations of Windows.

Dozerfleet was founded in Michigan; but has since relocated to Florida. However, Florida is logistically vulnerable. In the event of a doomsday scenario, the state could become uninhabitable, such as if a nuclear attack hit the state.

In case of the worst, North Carolina seems like the most feasible place to escape to.

  • It has land high enough from sea level to provide everything necessary for someone seeking shelter from rogue governments and Chinese nukes hitting from the Caribbean.
  • The climate is reasonable.
  • Off-the-grid living is not beyond the realm of possibility.

However, that will come with the need for some changes when it comes to equipment employed:

  • Back-up power items would be a must.
    • Casual access to AC wall electricity would be a luxury, not something to take for granted.
  • The TV set currently employed as "DozerfleetTV" would double as a PC monitor.
    • The current main PC monitor would be either sold or abandoned in the event of an on-foot migration. There'd be no practical way to carry it.
    • Failing the ability to safely procure storage for the TV, a smaller screen unit would have to be acquired.
    • This much smaller screen would be the new monitor.
  • Once phased out as a necessity, the current Dell Inspiron 3650 operating as Dozerfleet Main would be sold / recycled / abandoned.
  • A laptop to be the new Dozerfleet Portable, preferably a gamer-grade unit Mac that can dual-boot with Linux Mint, would be preferred.
    • The Macbook would be EMP-shielded, if possible.
    • MacOS would only be used to run Origin and Origin games, or to run Affinity Publisher, Affinity Designer, or any other software that cannot be replaced with FOSS.
    • Mint and FOSS would be used to handle every single other scenario.
  • At some point, the Surface Go 2 operating as Dozerfleet Mega Portable would be phased out.
  • The Kindle operating as Dozerfleet Ultra Portable will remain until it physically dies. It is unknown if a replacement Kindle will be available when that day comes. The whole designation may end up being retired.
  • The Dozerfleet Database remaining open will be the top online priority of Dozerfleet operations; updating the blogs will be secondary.
    • Otherwise, online activity would be minimal, outside of use of Google Maps.
    • Dozerfleet Mobile, currently operating from a Google Pixel 4A 5G, would continue until that unit goes defunct. If not immediately replaceable, Motorola walkie-talkies would be a prime means of communication with the few connections that would remain.
    • Facebook, Instagram, and DeviantArt may see weeks or even months go by without updates.

Where this has led for 2022

Many projects that were initially pursued highly ambitiously in 2022 found themselves later pushed back, due to scheduling conflicts with prepping. The need to explore possibilities and contingencies, and gather the necessary gear to be able to stage a migration in the future if it becomes necessary, has led to experimentation with and learning of new systems. Learning the basics of modern macOS setups, as well as learning Linux Mint basics, has also meant learning how to use Virtual Box, and the limitations of a virtual machine environment.

This has also led to Dozerfleet Mega Portable abandoning Windows 11 in favor of Mint. The Dozerfleet founder's mother even got on the bandwagon. Her old laptop, having only 4GB of RAM installed, was too old to run Windows 10 efficiently. It found new life with a new battery, plus an installation of Mint.

All of this, combined with hernia surgery in April, caused major setbacks to Dozerfleet projects. Some will still get made in 2022. Others have been rescheduled for 2023 projected release dates.

The Dozerfleet Megaverse vs. Hollywood Time Travel

In relation to this old video, it only seemed fair to post on here about how the Dozerfleet Megaverse understands time travel, as opposed to most of Hollywood. Without further adieu:

Sodality: Battle for Metheel, for starters, varies between Back to the Future or Avengers Endgame logic, based entirely on how well Schrodinger's Cat is exploited.

Morzhuk vs. Schrodinger

If Hea Pang does nothing, Morzhuk gets the Grand Ultimates' Ruby. Morzhuk wins. Earth-G7.0 and Earth-G7.2.0 are doomed, along with any other planets existing in those branch-offs of the Divergency. By going back in time to destroy the Grand Ultimates' Ruby before Morzhuk can see it, however, she eliminates any possibility that he will ever possess it! This dooms Morzhuk to have to power up through inferior means, meaning he will still be vulnerable to Extirpon.

The Gray Champion Memory Feedback Loop Dilemma

If Hea goes back to Scarlet Letter times, doesn't have an alias, goes to John and Orenda directly, and then goes to Hester, then her simple act of being direct means that John gets new memories.

This creates a Frequency paradox, where a new divergent timeline is created where John always knew, and to John in the main timeline not knowing at first, but then receiving a feedback loop where he gains the other John's memories after the fact. While the main John doesn't change much, the John in the new timeline suddenly remembers that Hea time traveled, leading to him having a different relationship when Hea meets him in 2012 after his time jump from the 17th century. This means that in the branch timeline, he's reluctant to let Hea go back in time at all, leading to a delay, leading to Morzhuk getting the Grand Ultimates' Ruby, and winning - in that other timeline.

To prevent that, Hea has to prevent the paradox. Except, she can't accept the alias to meet with Orenda and avoid John that John himself suggested, as this would lead to a memory feedback that would result in John having a similar memory paradox. So she has to secretly have Vince give her an alias, so that John won't recognize that the alias Hea uses to meet with Orenda while avoiding being seen by him was a name given to her by anyone in particular.

Literally, Hea has to protect 2021 John from both his 17th century and 2012 selves!

However, she only needs to keep her face and her true identity a secret from John's past self. She can freely share her identity with anyone else, who can be trusted to not expose her true identity to past John.

The Chillingworth Dilemma

So once she and Orenda are on their way to visit with Hester, Hea is free to reveal her true identity to them. She also gets careless, and Roger Chillingworth learns of her identity. Yet, Roger never learns of her connection to John Domeck, so he never confronts John. Therefore, he never exposes her to John. She defeats Roger after a quick battle, and then Roger eliminates himself as a threat of temporal paradox. Since their fight happened in an isolated location, and Hea leaves promptly with no witnesses, Roger just remembers it as a bad trip and embarrassing scuffle of losing to a woman. He attempts to make no mention of Hea defeating him, so it's almost like their battle never happened, as far as history is concerned.

By sparing Chillingworth rather than killing him, Hea ensures that Hester will still accidentally kill him by unwittingly using the Beamer's Ruby. By not telling Hester how it works, she prevents Hester from knowing how to not activate it, preventing Hester from preventing the fatal accident that causes Chillingworth's powers to backfire, thus killing him.

If Hea weren't careful in this way, then Hester would take pains to avoid triggering the ruby inside her necklace pendant. This would result in a Divergency split, creating an alternate timeline in which Morzhuk would win. This is because if Hester doesn't kill Chillingworth by accident with the Beamer's Ruby, then she'll never be inspired to create the Secret Sisterhood of the Locket to hide the necklace from prying eyes. Its significance will be lost. But also, it means that the Ramirez family will never possess it, to give it to Hea.

The Divergency will make one version of Hester so panicked as to lose control, thus causing her to activate the ruby and kill Chillingworth anyway. But in the new branch timeline, Hester doesn't lose control. Without this maneuver, Chillingworth's hand forces Miles Wealthington to come out of retirement as Oraphim, and to take matters into his own hands to defeat Chillingworth. Thus, no Sisterhood within the Order. Without the sisterhood, Hea Pang will never possess her copy of the locket in the new timeline's 2014.

Therefore, that version of Hea would be unable to help her version of John. That Team Gray would lose to the Miles Charleston Chillingworth, who would then make all of Miami suffer. That John, that Hea, would all perish in 2014. Without the Ramirez family being part of the Order, with Anna never possessing the locket, the Ramirez family would never adopt Marge after she gets displaced to 1995. A very different Mapacha del Fuego would exist, and she'd be of no use to Team Gray. And with Team Gray extinct, Navyrope would have to go back in time to stop the Grand Ultimates' Ruby. But would need a means other than Hester's Locket to do it, since no one would know about Hester's Locket.

Making matters worse, Extirwraith would have to be summoned to assist much sooner, since Extirpon wouldn't be able to keep up with all the MPF generators by himself. Extirwraith would be needed to take out Brackett and Hibbins, because there'd be no Gray Champion to do it. This would also lead to Tabitha Pang being adopted out to a very different family, possibly ensuring that the Twirlflame Trio in Swappernetters in this new branch timeline never come to exist!

By adopting Vince's alias, and hiding her face, Hea is able to get John to agree to let Orenda help the "mysterious woman of the Orient." They visit Hester, get the past version of the Beamer's Ruby (because it's dangerous for two versions of Hester's Locket to exist in the same place at the same time, so Hea deliberately leaves her copy behind on Phaeleel in the 21st century), and are on their way to destroy the Grand Ultimate's Ruby. Without fear of John's memories causing a paradox.

If Hea (or Anda or Vince) fail(s) to destroy the Grand Ultimates' in the past, Morzhuk will procure it in the present, and win.

If Hea succeeds at destroying the Grand Ultimates', but is killed in the past, then the Swappernetters timeline is slightly altered, because Tabitha will have lost her mother a lot sooner, resulting in a slight alteration to her personality. It will be less extreme then, because Marge and Candi will still be around. Yet, by the Vindication timeline, Candi is of little use to Tabitha. And Marge fares little better.

By succeeding and being rescued by Pilltar, without Pilltar's identity being revealed, and with Pilltar killing most of the Icy Finger low-levels that were sent after Hea, Hester, and Pearl; Hea ensures that no branch timeline can exist in which Morzhuk ever gets his hands on the Grand Ultimates'.

Since it is destroyed before Morzhuk opens its casing, and only the girls and their monitors in the 21st century in Desulon's lab even know that it has been destroyed, Morzhuk doesn't know better. He opens the casing in the 21st century, and finds that the Grand Ultimates' Ruby has been 404'd out of existence. This leads him to desperation as a backup plan for powering himself up - but it's not enough to make him too powerful for Extirpon.

The rest of the Megaverse vs. Hollywood on time travel attitudes

Other than one other time, in a once-planned Mirror's Edge fanfic where Tabitha goes back in time to save Faith Connors from a Feathertop-planted death trap during the Percolation Warriors Saga, The Gerosha Chronicles otherwise takes pains NOT to have anyone travel BACKWARDS in time. Yes, a lab worker associated with Eqquibus is sent back in time when John Domeck is sent forward, a-la Turtles in Time. But the lab worker is then killed immediately upon arrival, and evidence is destroyed. So the 17th century world never learns this worker's identity. Otherwise, only forward time is ever allowed.

Now, the same Divergency logic applies across the entire Dozerfleet Megaverse. So when visiting pocket realities tied to the Dromedeverse, the girls of Camelorum Correctional in Camelorum Adventures are never visiting their own true past. They may be visiting a present of that pocket dimension that resembles a moment of their own past, or that of their parents. This is how Carly and Jen can wind up in BELF's 80s sitcom dimension, and then get a tour of the late 80s, without destroying any of their own history. In relation to their own world, the original BELF's pocket dimension follows a less extreme version of Narnia time logic.

And when a clone of Volkonir gets trapped inside a Dromedeverse pocket dimension that is built on cyberpunk tropes? That clone's actions in that world have no bearing moving forward on anything in the main Eccentriaverse. The only contamination, is to the pocket dimension. Not only on account of a new Volkonir existing, but also on account of the fact that the new Volkonir has difficulty processing the moment of his entry into the world as his true "birth."

His mind and everything comprehension are contaminated by his inheriting the memories of the original Volkonir. Otherwise, this new Volkonir may as well be a completely different individual from the original. And it shows in how he upgrades his armor to fit his new setting, and in how he has to learn how to exploit the XomiaFaeCore for Weaving, to create a new Tapestry for himself - and for any new Cortasician Knights. The original knight powers of his allies can no longer exist based on power evolution dynamics such as his. So now, he has to re-create the Crystal Swan, Red Serpent, Argon Vole, and Silver Ferret powers from scratch. And then upgrade them per their new setting.

Since this Cyberpunk Volkonir never meets Masato, however, he never learns about the Spectral Hare Samurai knockoff powers. Therefore, in spite eventually learning how to re-create the Knights of Cortascius for a cyberpunk setting, Cyberpunk Volkonir never learns how to create his new world's own version of the Spectral Hare Samurai. His world simply doesn't have one.

In conclusion

Moral of the story: the damaging consequences of time travel aren't just in logical causality of the physical; but also in how one's perception of reality can be radically altered, for better or worse. Only God can cheat Schrodinger's Cat.

Netflix's Masters of the Universe: Revelation is everything Volkonir strives to avoid being

In this video, The Critical Drinker lays out every single detail of what he belives went horribly wrong with Netflix's attempt at a remake / loose sequel to He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Suffice to say, almost EVERYTHING went wrong! But what was especially grueling, was how the trailers for the show went to extreme lengths to deceive audiences! They thought they were getting straight-up He-Man, looking more awesomesauce than was possible in the 80s cartoon. What they got...was The Ruse of Soywalker Part 12: Reeeeeee!

And this excuse for a cartoon from Wokeflix accomplishes something else in-between snorting condoms and devouring Tide Pods: demonstrating everything Volkonir tries not to be!

Sure, Volkonir was modeled primarily after Saban's Masked Rider, but with his Golden Lion suit having a slight resemblance to a Big Bad Beetleborg mixed with a Mystic Knight of Tir Na Nog. However, the parallels between Prince Vinny and Prince Adam are hard to ignore:

  • Defenders of a magical kingdom.
  • Earth friends
  • Archenemy is an evil sorcerer king with a hood and robe. And a cheesy voice.
  • Hero is blonde, and wields a magical sword.
  • Hero summons powerups from seemingly out of nowhere, and has an arsenal he can summon.
  • Hero has lots of plucky sidekicks, including a really awesome female sidekick.
  • Henshin heroes

But that's about where the comparisons between Volkonir and He-Man come to an end. Still, here's where Volkonir really sets itself apart: refusing to play zero-sum fallacy games with woketardation! And refusing to pander to LGBTQPIZON perverts! Especially refusing to let pandering to them interfere with the quality of storytelling!

Kayla vs. Netflix Teela

Kayla doesn't need constant validation from everyone. If she disappears from being the center of attention for THREE DAYS, she really couldn't care less!

Yes, she's a bit horny and manipulative, and wants Vinny's attention. All bad habits she learned when she had to rip off the Fast and Furious movies to survive on the streets. But she's not over-the-top nor self-absorbed. She just wants her crush to return her affections - and her lust.

Yet, when more important things are happening, she stops thinking of herself and her desires, and starts thinking about what's important. She knows that unless she finds Silnya Semaphry's missing mogriffer, that she'll always be playing second fiddle to Volkonir in the powers game.

But here's the thing with that: she DOESN'T CARE! (What Woketards would call "blasphemy.") And she also proves that she doesn't need to be a lesbian to act cool either! Kevin Smith and the Netflix crowd seem to think that only lesbians are allowed to look cool, let alone actually be cool! Because if you don't have a butt buddy, you "don't count" to the Woketards.

At day's end, if Gwirmalesh and the other Gwirdons are defeated, Morlikus is restored to his throne, Cortascius is restored, and Earth no longer faces Gwirdon-related threats; then little else matters.

And Kayla knows what she wants; but is also mature enough to realize that she isn't ENTITLED to what she wants - even if she gets pretty desperate at times to get Vinny to knock boots with her! But when the universe keeps cock-blocking her; she accepts that it's God doing it for a good reason. This humility is what makes her worthy to succeed Silnya as the Crystal Swan Knight, in spite of her family-unfriendly faults and criminal history!

Making Kayla awesome does not require Volkonir to suck

As for Volkonir: He's a bit clueless about modern American social norms, and a bit of a naive manchild. He's also really bad at watching his back. But otherwise, he's a solid, capable combatant. Not a perfect man; but not a completely useless idiot either. He isn't whiny, and never feels like he needs to apologize for his mere existence. Yes, he can be a little dense sometimes; but Kayla watches his back and doesn't mind explaining to him. Endowing him with her street smarts to make up for his lack of them is what helps her feel important. Sure, he does screw everything up once when defending the Candle of Hope; and Gwirmalesh promptly humiliates him. But he gets a redemption arc - one that actually redeems him!

Yes, when he goes to rescue Kayla in the beginning of season 1, she ends up having just as much agency as he does in her own rescue, even fighting Hiktomoph without powers! And she briefly gains the upperhand, long enough to buy Volkonir time to get there and convince Hiktomoph to retreat!

Hanom is comfortable in his second fiddle

Then there are the secondary wheels. Dr. Hanom knows he's the brains behind the good guys; but lacks the brawn to be a warrior. He's content to be the guy in the chair.

Masato doesn't need to trample whitey to elevate himself

The token Japanese member. Masato is like Vinny in the worst ways: sometimes arrogant in combat, headstrong, and clueless about American social norms. But he is a true equal to Volkonir. The only time they truly scuffle, is when they can't agree on Tarantrum's right to live. Otherwise, these two are easily able to be respected heroes in their own right, without one ever feeling the need to dethrone the other to prove superiority. Envy doesn't rule them. Envy is the deadly sin to which Woketards are enslaved in full. They cannot comprehend existence outside of it!

Masato and Vinny can both be Chads - sort of. Whiny losers like the Twitterati can never understand nor appreciate that.

Girly girls don't have to be warriors to be badass

Vanessa is nothing remotely smacking of an action woman. But she knows her office position as Hanom's secretary gives her all manner of passive-aggressive power. Instead of abusing it on spiteful envy of the men, she uses it to blindside their enemies in ways that no one else could have guessed possible.

But Vanessa isn't a total wuss. She was the one who sent the Bison to the Zhong Kui dimension - a feat not even Kayla was brave enough to attempt! And walked back to her boring office job like nothing happened, as if it were little more than a brief stint of janitorial duty!

Vantina seeks to earn, not merely to take

Let's not forget Vantina Rumastik. The Crystal Swan powers rejected her for being a vampire; but she took it in stride.

She is later gifted with becoming the new Spectral Hare Samurai, after the fall of Masato Yoneda. Yet, she never once believes that proving herself requires her to steal the thunder of any of her teammates.

Vantina never assumes herself automatically superior to them either, even if she can do things they can't. Instead, when she replaces Masato, she reveres him as a warrior - and starts taking samurai discipline courses so she can better honor his legacy.

She doesn't use her additional vampire powers as an excuse to blow off the need to learn what Masato once learned. Rather, she takes it as a challenge: to see if she truly can learn to pretend like she isn't a vampire, and that being Masato 2.0 is all she can hope for. That way, when she is both vampire and samurai, she will be worthy of both!

Carlos understands personal sacrifice. Woketards don't.

And then let's not forget Carlos. He goes through his own redemption arc. He was the son of a violent drug kingpin; but wanted none of that legacy for himself. He ran away from the cartel, knowing that he'd put his mom in danger doing so. He also knew that helping Vinny defeat the Gwirdons meant putting himself in constant danger.

But while he's not particularly strong, smart, or much else; his determination to do what he believes is right sees him through. This is why he's blessed by Morlikus in season 3, and becomes the new Red Serpent Knight to replace the fallen Crimazol. What he lacks in the beginning, he earns over time. His mother doesn't even fault him for wanting to forsake his father's criminal empire!

And Lenny, to make them reee until you can hear it from the edge of space!

Then there's Lenny. Not as anti-authority as he may seem; but he was fully convinced the CIA and its shadow puppets were turning the US government into something demonic.

All he really wanted, was to see that evil defeated. But if he couldn't; he'd settle for ridding the universe of the Gwirdons.

He never envisioned being anything more than God's instrument of holy war against tyrants and demons, assisting others in their battles while he hid from the feds while inside a computer lab inside an RV down by the river in some remote part of Montana. One lonely doomsday prepper versus a world full of monsters and evil dictators. Knighthood under Cortascian monarchy was unthinkable to him for most of his life. But he accepted it when he realized it was what he was truly meant for.

Furthermore: he fully believes humanity is all from Adam and Eve, and that "race" talk is a social construct. There is no "white" supremacy; only obedience to God supremacy - which is universally constant for all mankind!

The shrieking eels cannot stand that!

Kevin Smith = TOTAL FAIL

THAT is how you do fantasy right, Kevin Smith! No lesbians, no whiny and self-centered female protagonists who have to steal all the thunder and glory away from the men just to prop themselves up! No idiotic, self-absorbed lack of empathy from Teela, no soy milk, no making men apologize for existing, no blind worship of women, no demonic female haircuts, no making all women hate all men, NONE of that!

And YET, my female characters are STILL awesome, even when life doesn't always go their way! Even without huge egos! Even without cringe, arbitrary promotions happening immediately to make them equal to or better than the men in the picture! They're different; and they find a way to be awesome in their own right in SPITE of it!

They don't envy; they LEARN! And they accept that the spotlight won't always belong to them. Yet, the men don't lord the spotlight over the women either! They RESPECT women too much to do that! Being on top isn't about pushing others around, deserved or otherwise! And that's something Marxists cannot wrap their thick, pigheaded skulls around.

MUTUAL RESPECT! NO ZERO-SUM FALLACIES! THAT is how you do it right! Woketards never learn. And now, they're set to destroy Ghostbusters - AGAIN! Because 2016 wasn't already an abomination!

Dozerfleet may need a lot more time to get Volkonir off the ground. But rest assured, it's already better than the woke trash we get today. What used to be an amusing, sometimes education night out at the local theater; has been replaced with merciless propganda for Pol Pot ideology. Will Americans be smart enough to do to the new Khumer Rouge what should have been done to the first one, before it ravaged Cambodia? Time will tell.

The Bison is an ijoju

The term "ijoju," or "ijō-jū" (異常獣,) is the correct term for what the Bison effectively is in the Eccentriaverse. He may have many kaiju traits; but he lacks the enormous size to be considered a proper kaiju. Even the Eel Thing is just barely large enough to be considered a proper kaiju.

Now, if you ask his surviving victims, they'd say the Bison borders on being a yoju (demon beast, 妖獣 ) instead! But...that's just their opinion.

Purge-Flare now available for the Philippines

Puge-Flare: Stickin' It to Pencil is now available in Bisaloglish, a hybrid language of English, Cebuano, and Tagalog, aimed at Cagayan de Oro residents.

Translations for this short story are also being pursued in Portuguese, Korean, and Russian. Blood Over Water, once finished, will likely also get a Spanish translation. Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Bisaloglish, Portuguese, Polish, etc. are not likely translations for that webcomic. Volkonir 2008 may get a Japanese translation, but there will likely not be any translations made for Volkonir Journals: Attempt #43. 3-13 has been delayed for release until some time in 2021. Future re-releases for Gored By Them Things and other related works are being debated.

Once prepared, Ciem / Anarteq: Kahoopiliana may receive a Spanish translation. However, no other translations will be made in-house. Ciem: Inferno and Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo won't be translated in-house either. But depending on publisher deals, other publishers may be interested in pursuing translation work on their own ends.

New download home for Volkonir Meets the Power Rangers

Click the image above to go to the download page.

After three years, the proper download page has been established for anyone wishing to access this work. It remains in syndication (for now) on Mod the Sims; but this PDF download gives the comedy work a more permanent home - just in case.

Originally written as a way to promote the 2017 Power Rangers movie while also promoting Dozerfleet in general, this short story quickly veered off in numerous other, mostly humorus directions.

Relive all the laughs for free, now brought to you by Dozerfleet Comics!
