Courtesy of the apps Wonder and Narrator's Voice, both available for Android, several characters in the Dozerfleet Megaverse can now be depicted visually in ways they haven't been seen before. And in some limited instances, approximations of their voices are now also available on the wiki!
While not all characters have AI-rendered versions of themselves yet, a large number of them do, and may see that art uploaded to their articles at some point. The audio samples are more limited. However, samples have been recorded to approximate what Cherinob, Black Rat, Stung Hornet, and Plum Bixie sound like. Voice narration files for the Dromedeverse and Eccentriaverse are pending.
Corando's "Don't Lose Hope" is in the process of being remade. The remake book is nearing completion. Sheet music is the next step, for the new song, so that it can be performed in real life. Once that step is done, editing the main feature will only take about a week, and the piece will be ready for publication.
It seems almost unbelievable that it's already almost October, and therefore, it is almost time to resume making the remake of Blood Over Water. This will commense as soon as "Don't Lose Hope" is officially in the can. Per the slated schedule, this will be followed immediately with Sorbet, Volkonir 2008, and Kahoopiliana. Once those works are finished, work will begin in Sniperbadger, and then on Path of the Ming-Cho. Path may be a short story, overall, since it never had much thick plot to begin with.
Completion of these works will mark the end of the main Dozerfleet Comics official free releases. Some minor cartoons, like some Centipede in the Spider-Verse parodies, may get released as well. After that, emphasis will switch to Dozerfleet Literature. Ciem: Inferno is the top work slated for novel production once the remaining machinomics are finished. Followed immediately by Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo. With Kahoopiliana and Sniperbadger in the can, however, those works may then be followed up with their immediate sequels: Ash Cloud and Tropic Mercenary.
After completion of a story pack related to the 2022 remake of Corando's "Don't Lose Hope," being remade as a book, almost all wiki side work is now complete. Work can now resume on completing the actual book.
Once this comic is finished, and a trailer for it is possibly made for YouTube, the remake of "Corando" will be considered in-the-can. Archiving will commence, and this will be one more classic project re-made and off the project queue. Intentions are to follow it up by immediately beginning production on Blood Over Water, utilizing the materials available via Dirty Laundry to reconstruct it.
There could be some delays, due to Hurrican Ian. However, Dozerfleet staff intend to move at the fastest possible speed to get the remake of Blood Over Water completed, to make room for the completion afterward of Sorbet and Volkonir 2008. These works, once finished, will conclude the Big Rapids Saga.
Long-term contigency plannning at Dozerfleet has led to a decision that once the machinomics are complete, it may be a good idea to start utilizing Linux Mint more, and relying less on variations of Windows.
Dozerfleet was founded in Michigan; but has since relocated to Florida. However, Florida is logistically vulnerable. In the event of a doomsday scenario, the state could become uninhabitable, such as if a nuclear attack hit the state.
In case of the worst, North Carolina seems like the most feasible place to escape to.
It has land high enough from sea level to provide everything necessary for someone seeking shelter from rogue governments and Chinese nukes hitting from the Caribbean.
The climate is reasonable.
Off-the-grid living is not beyond the realm of possibility.
However, that will come with the need for some changes when it comes to equipment employed:
Back-up power items would be a must.
Casual access to AC wall electricity would be a luxury, not something to take for granted.
The TV set currently employed as "DozerfleetTV" would double as a PC monitor.
The current main PC monitor would be either sold or abandoned in the event of an on-foot migration. There'd be no practical way to carry it.
Failing the ability to safely procure storage for the TV, a smaller screen unit would have to be acquired.
This much smaller screen would be the new monitor.
Once phased out as a necessity, the current Dell Inspiron 3650 operating as Dozerfleet Main would be sold / recycled / abandoned.
A laptop to be the new Dozerfleet Portable, preferably a gamer-grade unit Mac that can dual-boot with Linux Mint, would be preferred.
The Macbook would be EMP-shielded, if possible.
MacOS would only be used to run Origin and Origin games, or to run Affinity Publisher, Affinity Designer, or any other software that cannot be replaced with FOSS.
Mint and FOSS would be used to handle every single other scenario.
At some point, the Surface Go 2 operating as Dozerfleet Mega Portable would be phased out.
The Kindle operating as Dozerfleet Ultra Portable will remain until it physically dies. It is unknown if a replacement Kindle will be available when that day comes. The whole designation may end up being retired.
The Dozerfleet Database remaining open will be the top online priority of Dozerfleet operations; updating the blogs will be secondary.
Otherwise, online activity would be minimal, outside of use of Google Maps.
Dozerfleet Mobile, currently operating from a Google Pixel 4A 5G, would continue until that unit goes defunct. If not immediately replaceable, Motorola walkie-talkies would be a prime means of communication with the few connections that would remain.
Facebook, Instagram, and DeviantArt may see weeks or even months go by without updates.
Where this has led for 2022
Many projects that were initially pursued highly ambitiously in 2022 found themselves later pushed back, due to scheduling conflicts with prepping. The need to explore possibilities and contingencies, and gather the necessary gear to be able to stage a migration in the future if it becomes necessary, has led to experimentation with and learning of new systems. Learning the basics of modern macOS setups, as well as learning Linux Mint basics, has also meant learning how to use Virtual Box, and the limitations of a virtual machine environment.
This has also led to Dozerfleet Mega Portable abandoning Windows 11 in favor of Mint. The Dozerfleet founder's mother even got on the bandwagon. Her old laptop, having only 4GB of RAM installed, was too old to run Windows 10 efficiently. It found new life with a new battery, plus an installation of Mint.
All of this, combined with hernia surgery in April, caused major setbacks to Dozerfleet projects. Some will still get made in 2022. Others have been rescheduled for 2023 projected release dates.

Long-term planning has been going on regarding the future of Dozerfleet hardware. As Microsoft is making dual-booting more difficult, and the future of Big Tech and respect for user privacy remains questionable, Dozerfleet has been researching heavily the merits of moving operations to a Linux setup.
The best dual-booting feature for the future appears to be to get a gamer-quality MacBook Pro, then set up the partitions to allow Linux Mint to be the secondary operating system.
With such a setup as that, the MacBook could then run macOS Monterey (or whichever OS replaces it in the future) to run Office 2019, Origin, The Sims 4, and the Affinity suite - Photo, Designer, and Publisher.
These would be for instances in which using high-end proprietary software is a must. At present, the only time that Photoshop Elements would still be used, is for making anaglyph images. Test results show that channel blending for this purpose in Photoshop still works thousands of times better than the most popular methods for Affinity Photo.
Premiere Elements is still top-notch for video editing; but a dual-boot Linux Mint Cinnamon session of OpenShot could work for video editing in a pinch.
For times when Office 2019 isn't imperative, and when LibreOffice apps would suffice, Linux Mint comes with those already installed. With a little tweaking, LibreOffice is at least on par with Office 2007.
For times when Affinity Photo, Affinity Publisher, Affinity Designer, etc. aren't imperative, Krita makes for an adequate subsitute. As a bonus, Krita can do anaglyphs just as well as Photoshop - through a channel blending checkbox feature that Affinity Photo is woefully lacking. Darktable, likewise, makes for a nice replacement for Lightroom on any machine. Blender works natively in Linux.
All things considered, the only reason to keep Mac or Windows around at Dozerfleet, is for games and game modding (such as for The Sims 4), character modeling, and improvised CAD. All other operations are Linux-ready. So if the need to abandon Windows in the future becomes imperative, the full transition to Linux Mint would require minimal growing pains.
On bench tests, Linux Mint Cinnamon beats out Windows 11 in almost every important category. This is not to say it's a perfect OS. Getting WINE and Lutris to run particularly well is still at times difficult. Dozerfleet Mega Portable now runs Mint, as opposed to Windows 11. However, given the small size of its solid state drive, the file storage space gains have proven insignificant. The next Dozerfleet Main / Portable will need to be a slightly larger, and much more horsepower-heavy machine.
In the mean time, Dozerfleet Main can continue running a supported Windows 10 until about 2024 or 2025. From there, it can run an unsupported Windows 10 until about 2030. After that, it may be able to upgrade to a Linux distro, assuming the hardware doesn't die. This should be long enough to complete the remaining projects in Dozerfleet Comics' main comics division lineup. After that, Dozerfleet Literature will become the main focus - and Literature uses far fewer overall system resources.
Most Dozerfleet content that isn't a novel set in the Dozerfleet Megaverse, on the Dozerfleet Literature end, is free content. As such, Dozerfleet Labs is also intent on issuing 99.9999% free content. Until more practical means exist to make something worth charging over, Dozerfleet Labs will likely stay a mostly if not entirely free content provider.
That being said, donation options are not out of the question. While one has yet to be decided on, PayPal is in consideration. Dozerfleet is not planning, however, at any point in time, on getting a Patreon account, and here's why:
1. Patreon in run by Tide Pod zombies
If you dare question any part of the narrative of life that BlackRock and the corporations it controls want you to believe about life, if you so much as express doubt about action taken in the name of some radical political cause that Patreon likes, etc., then your failure to cheerlead that cause enough, puts you in the same category in their twisted mind(less) as being a "Trump supporter," a "white supremacist," and all the other insane, overused slurs they can think of.
Long story short, they will deplatform you for "wrongthink." You don't even need to outright oppose a particular cause in general. But if you question if a particular action taken by an activist in the name of that cause is logical, let alone ethical, then that's the "same thing" as literally being Dylan Roof!
"Yet, they hated the light, and hated transparency, and loved darkness, for their deeds were evil." - paraphrased form John 3:19
2. Patreon is a social credit trap
Being run by Tide zombies, the platform is all about luring users into a trap that is a backdoor to America adopting Chinese social credit, where anyone's wrongthink, or even failure to express "correct"think to the preferred degree, can be met with disproportionately harsh punishments, as well as hefty persecution in areas of life where it is absurd and unjust!
This is demonic, and the demons need to be sent back to Hell! Chinese social credit is not a system that deserves to exist in any spec of any universe, let alone in China itself, let alone in America! For Patreon to be in favor of it, is the site damning itself.
3. Patreon presumes the right to spy on you
If it could get away with it, the site would hire secret police to stalk / spy on platform users in their everyday offline lives. Why? To find so much as even one single example of "wrongthink" being expressed, as an excuse to deplatform said individual! Alas, the site doesn't yet have the blessing of courts to stalk its users offline to look for excuses to punish them offline. But it does the next-worst thing: spying on every single damned thing you do while online. Looking for anything you say, and putting the worst imaginable construction on it. And then punishing you, often without a meaningful chance to appeal the decision.
After all, when woketards decide what you meant, and you don't get to say you didn't mean what they say you mean, even when plain evidence is on your side, then they win. Because it's about what they want, truth be damned!
The site affirmed its position in this diabolical deed when it banned Sidney Watson. What was her crime? They wouldn't even tell her! Alas, she has posted videos questioning modern feminist logic, and questioning the modern chromosome significance defilement mafia's agenda to create "pregnant men." She posted NONE of this activity on Patreon. Yet, Patreon saw fit to act outside its jurisdiction, and punish her for having the "wrong" position on hot button issues, on sites that were not Patreon.
Likewise, even as the gene rape jabs were killing those who got them left and right, creating orange blood and weird nanoparasites that actually grow larger in formaldehyde, rather than dying in it, Patreon also went on a crusade to ban anyone critical of the jabs!
The only thing here that needs to be banned, are Patreon themselves. And the jabs. And the demonic "trans" movement, run by lying sociopaths preying on the mentally ill.
Patreon also ree'd up a storm when she pointed out how silly it is to call math "racist." So either agree with Clown World, and hasten the anti-science lunacy and degeneracy of the most degenerate of America's lowest common denominator, or not be allowed to make money? A company with that attitude doesn't deserve to even exist!!!
So what's the point of ever using Patreon at all? There are only two reasons Dozerfleet has to even visit that wretched site:
TwistedMexi's T.O.O.L. Mod (until they ban him for having an "offensive" username, because they're flaming idiots.)
Weerbesu's UI Cheat Options mod
The Sims 4 needs those to be truly useful for machinomics. That's it.
Dozerfleet has been putting off the financial side as long as possible, because content with influence and purpose has always been the goal, regardless the dollar signs. A time may come when placing price tags on certain future items grows inevitable; yet there is always going to be a longing for a free section to occur.
Now that Dozerfleet Labs has a successful virtual machine to run macOS Mojave, the Mac-side development of Dozerfleet can commense. However, early releases will be fan folder icon packs primarily. Hardware limitations prevent upgrades to a newer version, such as Big Sur or Monterey. This means that Dozerfleet Studios will still have to develop videos on the Windows side, using Premiere Elements. Final Cut is not available at this time for Dozerfleet Studios.
Dozerfleet Literature and Dozerfleet Comics will get new ICNS files for those wishing to have icon art on the Mac side for their favorite Dozerfleet projects. These, along with finally decoding the Albums Master to resurrect its icon libraries, has led to some chances for improved wiki artas well. Otherwise, all significant development of actual content will remain being done on the Windows side.
Dozerfleet Records may consider using GarageBand or similar Mac software in the future. But for the time being, little activity is occurring in this division.
Once icon packages have been completed, further Mac development will be halted, to get back to completing the remake of "Corando's Don't Lose Hope," along with the anthologies, etc. These will be followed by Volkonir 2008, and then with Blood Over Water, which will likely finish out the year.
