Divisions

Dozerfleet is comprised of several different specific operations, many of which overlap with one another. The pages on this site for each division are to be a directory for projects that fall primarily under that division, as opposed to the others. Click on a division's tab to learn more.

The second oldest division. Its roots go back to short stories from 1994, as well as penning a script and narration for the short story Attack of the Pontiac Poachers for 1995's Odyssey of the Mind competition in west Michigan.

In 2001, this division penned The Adventurous Adventures of Redundant Man for Lansing's BoorsHead Theater competition, as well as writing the Rubik's puzzle-themed short novel Replox: Abstract Foundations, along with a poetry collection dubbed "Cone's Poetry Tire Swing." In the mid-2000s, Dozerfleet Literature published the Tri-Sola Poetry collection by Michael J. Hayes.

Dozerfleet Literature today is the main division under which falls this blog, as well as the sister Labs blog, as well as managing most of the social media network presence of Dozerfleet.

This division also manages almost all miscellaneous literature, as well as all the short stories and novels associated with Dozerfleet Comics that are not overly visual in content. One exception is the Citric Sid recipe catalog, which falls under Dozerfleet Labs.

Comic strips, graphic novels, concept art, most character art, webcomics, machinomics, etc., fall under this banner. Dozerfleet Comics is the oldest division, dating back to the founder's earliest sketches in grade school in 1993.

The big three franchises of Volkonir, Camelorum Adventures, The Gerosha Chronicles, plus all their tie-in franchises, fall under this banner primarily.

Managing content for these franchises is a function shared first and foremost by the Comics and Literature divisions, before any of the other divisions even come into play.

If the work is pertaining to these franchises, but is primarily still visual in format, it will usually fall under this banner.

What the Studios division does for video, Records does for audio-only projects. Audio books fall under the Records label. Sound effect recording also falls under this division banner. Dozerfleet Records dates back to 2004, with early sound effect clips and song parodies.

This division overlaps with Dozerfleet Literature in offering promotional assistance to bands that associate with Dozerfleet, and also houses the lyrics of Every Ape and His Brother songs.

Dozerfleet Studios can be traced back to a video for a class in 1999, where Mutt Mackley made an appearance. The first video release online was of Kings in the Corner in 2003, followed by The Blue Face Film Strips the same year.

Photography projects, including by-appointment projects not directly related to a major Dozerfleet brand project, fall under the Studios banner. This also includes similarly-natured video projects. Dozerfleet Studios is primarily the division most concerned with translating Dozerfleet content into video formats, and distributing said video.

The youngest division. Dozerfleet Labs began in late 2004 and early 2005, with primitive custom content add-ons for The Sims 2.

It expanded to include cooking recipes, arts, and crafts. Dozerfleet Machinomic Downloadables (DzMD) is its official product line for game add-ons. Given the special nature of Labs compared to the integrated nature of the other divisions, its sheer complexity necessitated running the Labs division on a separate blog.
