Path of the Ming-Cho has gone AI

With the wiki back online, and most articles reverted to where they were before the db141 crash, other news has it that the process for things moving forward got some good news. Path of the Ming-Cho is now scheduled to be a free-release short story, one that will be sparsely illustrated with AI renders.

Not using up as many Sims resources means that after the completion of Corando's "Don't Lose Hope", the remaining five comics can be finished in a more timely manner. Path will then be easier to complete, granting plenty of time for two more AI showcase videos - plus time to initiate the for-profit novels, and time for Dozerfleet Studios to branch into freelance projects, possibly for A-Line Services in Florida.

As a result, its catalog entry has been relocated from the Comics shop to the Literature shop. Details will be released as more information is available.

Good news, bad news

Good news

Corando work is back on track.

Also, Miraheze should be ready with the restored wiki fairly soon, as in, in a week.

Bad news

SlimWiki isn't going to allow mass public access of pages for backup wiki purposes. However, it can be used to reverse-engineer about pages on the blog, to function as a mini-wiki, for big enough projects. Which projects qualify for this treatment has yet to be determined.

Trolls on Reddit that don't want the brand to exist in any form are also being dealt with. This may take a while.

More wiki news

Miraheze has recovered several lost portions of the Dozerfleet Database, and is working to add them back in. When they are added, changes made since will then be also added. Some articles will be reverted to pre-crash information, such as Candi's article. Also, Mahima's article will be reverted, to allow for her father's original name to be restored.

SlimWiki will still be used as a backup for projects, however. Each project's Miraheze article, upon completion and publication, should get a SlimWiki article entry as well.

There is also some consideration of restoring the old blog Wilinski Forest, as a go-to for discussing topical current events issues and where Dozerfleet stands on each. Many of these will involve links to news stories on other sites or videos, often with commentary. That blog isn't expected to be as popular as the main; but it will definitely prevent story loss from occurring, as has happened before.

Changes to Tumblr, plus lack of popularity on Tumblr, led to Wilinski Forest being defuncted on that site. But as current events continue to affect the world Dozerfleet must operate in, keeping stories straight about topics not immediately related to Dozerfleet projects is still a priority. Topics in the news that directly affect Dozerfleet operations may still get mentioned on the main blog here, or on the Labs blog. But Wilinski Forest would cover those that don't affect either directly.

If you see the above icon next to a project's Database icon, that means that a very simplified version of the project's data has been copied over to the emergency backup Dozerfleet Database on SlimWiki.

Under ideal circumstances, the Miraheze version will be able to show you everything you could possibly ever want to know about a project's history, and then some. But if for whatever reason Miraheze is down; projects will still have the option to have a SlimWiki version of their articles provided.

The wiki is back! (Sort of)

Miraheze finally was able to reset the wiki settings for the Dozerfleet Database, so it can live again. That being said, restoring all the lost articles via XML and Word document feeds will take some time. Files may still be getting Word document backups, should the wiki go down again.

Tri-Sola articles have been restored first. Candi Flippo-McArthur is next, along with articles related to Blood Over Water, Corando's "Don't Lose Hope," Purge-Flare: Stickin' It to Pencil, and The Sims 4: Oughties Big Rapids Living Stuff. These articles take precendence and priority, as does their artwork.

After these are restored, and "Don't Lose Hope" is online for download, the wiki on it will be updated. The AI showcase of The Gerosha Chronicles will get an article written. After that, articles to be re-added to the wiki first will be LCC and Ferris State-related. SWOCC will come next. After that, articles related to the 1990s, 2000s, and anything else from the 2020s will take precedence. The 2010s projects will come after that, followed by character articles, etc. for everything from the 2000s and 2010s.

Wiki rebuilding so far

Conversion of the thousands upon thousands of pages of MediaWiki to HTML is going to take a VERY long time. It may possibly not even be worth it to restore the entire Dozerfleet Database. If the need for another one gets dire enough, ShoutWiki is a last resort.

For the time being, articles set for HTML conversion are articles about the brand itself, as well as Divisions, project titles, etc. Characters from the Megaverse are not an immediate priority.

Instead, characters' old article feeds are likely to first be converted to Word documents. Characters may possibly not get their articles returned.

However, published projects may get a page on the blog for discussing things like trivia, production, release dates, etc. These pages would be very-scaled-down versions of the original Miraheze articles.

Which Geroshan Anarteq is closest to the original myth?

In spite being named after the boy-turned-fish-and-back, none of the Sundue family members in The Gerosha Chronicles are 100% faithful to the myth from which they derive their codename. The original myth can be watched here.

It's definitely not Isitoq

Given that he's always been melancholy, serious, and an introverted sigma male of sorts, Isitoq Sundue from Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo is probably the least faithful to the source material! Also, while willing to hunt and fish when living alone, Izzy's career as Anarteq oddly enough has little to do with hunting caribou, and plenty to do with sabotaging Icy Finger equipment and vehicles / vessels, as well as other random superhero-type activity.

Izzy derives much of this from the fact that the Mahaha operatives robbed him of the innocence of his youth early on. He was never able to gain much footing with regard to developing a strong social circle in school either, encouraging him to be a lone wolf - or get involved in Order-related activities. Outside of his own father Toklo, and uncle Tulimak, there were few with whom Izzy felt he could truly connect. He got along fairly well with his mother, Anjij; as well as with his aunt Siaja, with his cousin Jissika, and with the Order's relic keeper and storyteller: Nanaouk Kunuk.

At that point, however, Nanaouk had basically become family to Izzy. Sure, he was able to make friends with Emeraldon over time; but they had similar personalities. Even Izzy is surprised how well he meshed in the end with Moira "Li'Ban" Flanagan, not initially expecting that they'd get anywhere.

Waiting too long to make a move, and being too methodical, have been some of his biggest character flaws. It was his stubbornness at not wanting to go with Jissika, not form a plan on the fly when the situation called for it, want to deliberate an extra day or two with her before doing anything, etc.; that led to Jissika lashing out and doing the extreme opposite foolish thing - which left her at the mercy of Wishpon, and later at the mercy of SCALLOP and the Kirby Act.

The original Anarteq's folly was being too playful and reckless when hunting. Therefore, while Izzy has a merman form and can relate to the original myth that way; he otherwise has very little else in common with the source material.

It's not Jissika either

Jissika Sundue, as Nemara, is possibly an inversion of gender roles in the original myth. While she probably wouldn't be a jokester while hunting caribou, she is very extroverted and...flirty, in many social situations. The original Anarteq's sisters had higher morals, and were not quite so outgoing and reckless.

It's not Toklo

While not the magnitude of stick-in-the-mud that Izzy can be, his father Toklo was also pretty serious from early on. But unlike Izzy, who would jeopardize the mission by wanting to secure his solitude; Toklo was willing to sacrifice what he wanted much more readily for the good of others. His determination to rid the north of Icy Finger operatives like Mahaha, however, proved to be his downfall. And his being killed by one of them was partially what drove Izzy to become as introverted as he did.

At any rate, Izzy wasn't quite as reclusive before Toklo's death.

So who?

The best case of who might count as being a somewhat accurate Anarteq would either be Izzy's grandfather, Akiak Sundue, or else his uncle, Tulimak Sundue. However, learning he had salmon powers wasn't what drove Akiak to take his cause unto the Order seriously. He'd always somewhat done it, even if he were more outgoing, friendly, and extroverted than either Toklo or Isitoq.

What truly drove Akiak to become serious, was when he saw the Icy Finger create their own version of Inukpak to punish tribes that wouldn't pledge allegiance to the Icy Finger. How dare they appropriate the identity of Inukpak the Giant for such nefarious purposes!

Before the Mahahas, which became an obsession for Toklo and Tulimak to deal with, Inukpak was one of the great threats for Akiak to take down. His success resulted in his worth being proven to one Tobey Flippo, as one Fred Thernip. This led to him being added on to the Phexo Quartet, where he'd aid in the Japanese theater of war and would aid Donald "Arrowfrog" Walters from South America in dealing with the threat known as "Molarity."

While Akiak loved to mess around while hunting, he knew his limits. Perhaps the greatest match to the original myth, therefore, was Tulimak.

Tulimak was a screwball when hunting and fishing; though he wasn't cosmically punished for it. He took his saboteur / hero work seriously, though less so than his brother Toklo did.

Where Tulimak really fell short, and it proved his downfall, was in his behavior around women. He lacked the maturity to marry Siaja Tiktak after learning he'd impregnated her. He wasn't a very good father to Jissika either, leading to some of her teenage rebellion antics. This was made worse when he mysteriously vanished one day while Jissika was still a little girl, leading her to suspect that he was simply being a deadbeat. Izzy wanted to believe the current Mahaha or one of his Qalupalik soldiers had killed Tulimak, as they had previously done Toklo in. Jissika, however, believed that Tulimak skipped town because he didn't want to be a family man.

In spite all of this, work as an Anarteq operative was dangerous. By the time Izzy embarked on his mission to Sault Ste Marie, the previous three male Anarteqs were already either dead or missing. And instead of having to learn not to be foolish on the water, Izzy had to learn that it was risky to procrastinate too much on land. The price he paid for it? Being exiled from Canada by the Trudeau regime for saving the world; while being forced to abandon his cousin - as she remained confined inside a Michigan juvenile prison.

Understanding the climax of Corando's Don't Lose Hope

The climax of Corando's "Don't Lose Hope" may be very strange to some. With this pose, hopefully there can be some clarity brought to the narrative.

The map below shows the general area of Porbandar relevant to the climax.

After Mahima is rescued from Daruka's camp, Filforth instructs her to find a working phone near the Hotel Viram, and then contact Darshan. Of course, amidst the panic, Mahima can't adequately explain who Filforth is to Darshan, but he must take her word for it that Tara Mandir is the safe spot.

From there, Filforth instructs Mahima to tell Darshan to meet her at the planetarium, and that she must then run there herself. Given it's practically Armageddon in Porbandar, she can be forgiven for hotwiring a car to get to the planetarium. But she must drive to the planetarium, or run to it, to live. As long as she is heading toward the planetarium, the meteors won't hit her. However, Filforth never guarantees that Darshan and Ketan will make the journey safely.

Finding a car to hijack for purposes of escaping to the planetarium takes longer for Darshan and Ketan, given they're in a region near Gokul Mathura Towers, that's closer to the largest number of impacts of meteor carnage.

Amidst 5.3 kilometers (3.29 miles) of insanity raining down, Darshan and Ketan's wild ride takes a little longer to safely traverse than the 9 minutes suggested by Google under normal conditions.

However, while Darshan and Ketan tried walking, and then later stole a truck to get to Taran Mandir, Mahima was able to steal a truck almost immediately. She at one point panicks while on Highway 27, and makes an illegal turn onto Service Rd., driving the wrong way. She doesn't fear the police, given that they're too busy trying to not be killed by meteors.

Driving dangerously, Mahima is able to return to the correct lane, just short of the intersection near Kishan's Farm. She finally makes a left turn onto Adityana Rd., then ditches the stolen truck by Vegetable Vendors on Bhanvad-Porbandar Rd., which Adityana becomes. She runs on foot toward the planetarium from there, relying on the carnage all around to ensure that police and civilians don't ask questions.

Mahima was taken northeast of town by Daruka, requiring her the greatest de facto distance to travel. Darshan and Ketan were lost and confused. They were near Gokul Mathura, hoping that the towers would provide shelter from meteors - which just destroyed the airport across the street, and forced them to abandon their plans of boarding a plane to America.

Another explanation for how Mahima made it to Tara Mandir first, is that she was already that determined to survive, having just escaped from being tortured by Daruka. Darshan and Ketan may have been traumatized by the mob burning their church down, but they were even more blindsided by the meteors than Mahima was. Darshan braved taking Highway 27, the most direct route, in spite the increased risk of death by meteors. He both lacked Mahima's opportunities, as well as her sense of imagination and improvisation.

To be fair, Darshan was also distracted by the fact that he was trying just as hard to concentrate on keeping Ketan alive, as he was on keeping himself alive, and trying to drive a hotwired stolen vehicle, and reunite with his fiancee. Therefore, he chose the shorter-yet-more-dangerous road, and arrived at the planetarium just seconds after Mahima got there. All Mahima had to worry about was her own skin, as she didn't have anyone the equivalent of Ketan tagging along in her stolen vehicle to distract her.

Yes, Mahima was a little more worried about the police than Darshan, but that was insignificant compared to trying to keep a mostly-useless tag-along friend alive in the middle of an apocalypse.

Mahima arriving at Tara Mandir first is hardly the greatest irony of their story. The greater irony, is where the couple finds freedom and safety after Porbandar's destruction: in the Bihar providence to the north, not far from the city of Bahadurpur. They find a home not far from India's border with Nepal, a nation which is even more hostile to St. Thomas Christians than the Hindi nationalists typically are!

In comparison, Jerry and his band escaping from Ameristan Toklisanan Texas, to flee from Halal Affadidah, proves relatively unremarkable. They're able to pass through the Wall in 2018, before Affadidah reneges on his agreements to allow for emigration out of his land.

Therefore, the Embertons and Monides didn't have to worry about Hebbleskin raid parties, nor about being hunted by "krockodil zombie" squads. Even then, they didn't have to worry about the politics in Indiana, as Affadidah cared more about making life miserable for residents of Indiana and Michigan than he did for anyone living in Maine. Orono, to say nothing of Lubec (with the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse, a location in their video), had minimal regime presence.

What's next for the videos?

There aren't yet quite enough images to piece together a proper Eccentriaverse walkthrough; though most of the essentials are already in place. A Dromedeverse walkthrough is just about ready, though the Trapezoid Kids have yet to be remade with AI.

As the Database still waits for news that it can be rebuilt on Miraheze, priorities have shifted to completion of Corando's Don't Lose Hope. After this, production can begin on Blood Over Water. Ideally, the latter can reach completion by some time in February. An Eccentriaverse AI video can then be pursued in March, when Volkonir 2008 production is set to resume.

Completion of all such Volkonir-related comics and videos will then allow for proper for-profit Volkonir literature to be written at any time. However, research on the Bozeman area may have to wait until at least the following year. There are plans tentative in May of 2023 for a trip to Lewes, Delaware, to study the area for The Trapezoid Kids, Grillitan Diner, and Camelorum Adventures. Such a tour would ideally be followed up by one of Bozeman, and one of Captain Cook, Hawaii.

A tour of the Philippines is doubtful, as is a tour of North Bay and Yellek for Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo and Experiments and Offspring. It would depend on how crazy the regime is feeling as to whether or not it would even be worthwhile to enter.

Travel to Shanghai and Hong Kong for Extirpon 2, The Call Him...Black Rat, and Little Shanghai Hornet seems very unlikely, as does travel to Tokyo or to Baton Rouge for Mukade: Reinvention and The Bison Reborn.

Ideally, Blood Over Water and Volkonir 2008 can both be completed before journey to Lewes becomes an issue. Release dates for the Eccentriaverse and Dromedeverse AI showcases will also be contingent upon how well the video does for the Gerosha showcases.

How would Cherinob's enemies respond to the Balenciaga scandal?

Recently, the Babylon Bee posted yet another fantasic piece of satire, in which Baal himself decided that Balenciaga was too over-the-top, even for him.

His counterpart in Cherinob 2, Belay, is all about timing, and ritual precision. Hence why he's none too pleased that Krystal Travin's meddling forces Astirnah (Asherah) to improvise while freeing him from his Penditulum. He wants to create an Abdygalis Shard to hasten the arrival of Armageddon, and damn as many souls to Hell as possible. Kritchobol (Veles)'s failure in the first Cherinob story only further ensures that the Abdygalis Shard that was almost harvested in Romania gets destroyed by Boris Heminski, leading to a desperate scramble to create a new one.

Not only does Belay desperately want this artifact; but so does Rappaccini of the Society of the Icy Finger! Granted, Rappaccini wants it so he can combine an Earth Abdygalis Shard with the Metheel Abdygalis Shard, given to him as a gift from the Hebbleskin Gang, but also with the Phaeleel Abdygalis Shard.

Once he gets his hands on an Earth Shard, Earth-G7 Rappaccini already knows where the Phaeleel Shard is. The problem is, finding a Parakoid Phexo that has an adequate genetic sequence to unlock the vault without an override. Meaning: Rappaccini needs one of Keet Kabo's feathers.

Therefore, Keet has to avoid being in the battlefield during the Second Great Battle for Dephinapolis during the events near the end of Sodality: Vindication; lest she be captured, and her feathers used as a key. With the three Shards of Three Worlds, Rappaccini would create a new miniature Abdygalis, consolidate most Marlquaan power unto himself, become a veritable demigod, and unlock Earth-G7 to the Multiverse.

Earth-G7.2.1 Rappaccini, meanwhile, would be able to unlock the ability to traverse the Multiverse on a whim, as opposed to being at the mercy of the Percolation Wave.

Since Belay is already a multiversal singularity, the Percolation Wave is of no consequence to him. All he cares about, is hastening the Reconvergence, and hastening Armageddon.

Now, Belay is all for everything Balenciaga is on the hook for. However, he is also a devil of timing. He wants schemes done right, to ensure they have the best chance of being pulled off.

To that end, Belay (Baal) wouldn't totally oppose the actions of Balenciaga; but he would take issue with the timing of their release in an ad campaign.

The West has not yet softened up to pedophilia enough for Belay's liking as of the early 2020s in Earth-GØ. Therefore, the scheme risks falling apart due to premature overexposure. He wouldn't condemn what they're doing so much per se; but he would take issue with their timing and their presentation.

He may not be enough of a liar to pretend in public to distance himself from Balenciaga entirely. But he would look at their premature overexposue, and say: "Idiots!"

Astirnah would begrudgingly agree. As much as devils hate patience as a virtue, they themselves understand its value regardless. She's for pushing sexual perversion every bit as much as Belay; possibly even moreso. Yet, she also understands that without something like the Chrome Kite in control, in which not nearly enough teachers are on par with Gina Swinton, going this all-out on BDSM fetishizing of children is too far, too soon.

Even Frotchimar prefers to be sneaky; and to let youth corrupt one another in secret! This is why he disguised himself as the heroic Fred Chimpton, and tried to gain Tabitha Pang's trust.

To empower himself to achieve his own ends, Frotchimar needs to find a certain number of young women associated or destined in some way to be associated with the Sodality Church or the Sodalities of Gerosha and / or Florence, and convince a certain number of them from more than one generation to engage in premarital penetrative sex - whether oral, anal, or vaginal.

He was able to wreak absolute havok on the Flippo triplets. He successfully led Hea Pang astray. He also corrupted Jissika Sundue, Pam Marcones, Stephanie Barrin, Mingmei Cheng, Sadie Klink, Celia Winehart, Sarah Ruben, Krystal Travin, Siaja Tiktak, Alison Ligash, Amirah Rose, and dozens of others; to say nothing of what he was able to do to the men in their lives! And whichever women he couldn't corrupt directly, he directed as much energy as possible to making them targets for predators. Zize, Tiffany, Dolly, and others found themsleves on the receiving end of that.

Yet, even Frotchimar generally limited the antics of those he swayed, so they'd seek out bedrooms - or other places where they'd have privacy. Victims of Frotchimar's sway were seldom under 14 years of age, and most of them were no younger than 16 or 17. And even then, putting children in photos next to BDSM gear was unthinkable!

In the end, Tabitha would've been the grand prize. He came close, several times, to convincing her and Jordan Sterlie to do the deed. They'd shared nights alone unsupervised, naked under the cover in each other's arms. They'd teased the prospect a few times. They'd made out. They'd put their hands where they shouldn't have. But in the end, they didn't commit to anything penetrative. And when Tabitha realized the extent to which Frotchimar was manipulating her, she hard-refused to continue! She snapped free from his control so hard, it even shook Jordan out from under Frotchimar's control!

Most demons would have fled at that point. But Frotchimar was so invested in Tabby, he attacked her instead. This only resulted in him getting sent back to Hell forcibly and painfully, getting blasted with Cherinob's nuclear scream to the face! The two teens, breaking free from Frotchimar's control and destroying his power, were then comforted.

Even for Frotchimar, however, Balenciaga as pushing it!

About the only devil low enough to be an open and self-outing cheerleader for Balenciaga, would be Riptchokal - Lord of the Peeping Toms. Yet, even most of the demon world considers him a joke!

Devils would only be so bold as to let minions of theirs such as Balenciaga parade such insanity this publicly, because they sense the world is becoming sick enough and apathetic enough that they can now cross such lines - right out in broad daylight - with no immediate backlash. Just a mere single decade ago, this would have been unthinkable! Those prophecying that it would happen, if lesser evils went uncorrected and unpunished, were branded as lunatics! But here we are.

Even the devils in Hell are shocked that Balenciaga could be so bold! And they've been inspiring evil of every kind for thousands of years!
