Description
The Man From '84 is the seventh album by Every Ape and His Brother, and features the seventh singular character in line at the imaginary red carpet meeting where "every ape and his brother is going to be there!" was proposed in late 2021, and officially initiated on June 14th 2022.
This mysterious "man" is allegedly the embodiment of every evil spirit that wants to enslave body, mind, and soul of an individual to some faceless state entity. The album cover shows this villain popping out of a television screen, his face covered in one word: "OBEY!"
While the album keeps to this theme of condemning statism, much like its predecessor The Sent-In Clowns did, and the " '84" is very much a reference to Orwell's 1984, it also references the popular Apple ad about a similar theme. It furthermore emphasizes that the parodies in this album intend to focus on 80s rock classics.
Two songs were added in 2021, with room for more to be added as inspiration allowed.
This album's lyrics have been moved, in protest of blue-and-pink-haired YouTube fascists unfairly and unlawfully targeting Every Ape songs.
